Open QuarterMaster is an open-source inventory management system built around a modular architecture. The core API handles inventory records and location data, the Base Station frontend provides the main user interface, and optional plugins extend the platform for workflow-specific use cases such as point of sale, smart storage, or custom integrations.
The project provides a single-host quickstart based on a Debian package repository and the oqm-captain installer. Repository documentation also describes a containerized architecture and positions the system for self-managed deployments on local hardware, including edge-style setups such as Raspberry Pi.
A public demo instance is available for evaluation. The vendor also offers optional setup, consulting, training, and custom integration services for teams that want help adapting Open QuarterMaster to their workflow.
