Third-party ontologies and vocabularies. Our taxonomy and classification layer builds on open, third-party ontologies including the Smart Applications REFerence (SAREF) / Smart Thing Ontology (STO) family, the Industrial Ontology Foundry (IOF) Core ontology, the Description of a Project (DOAP) vocabulary, and other domain-specific vocabularies sourced from academic, industrial, and standards-body projects. These ontologies remain the intellectual property of their respective authors, publishers, and maintainers, and are used in accordance with their own licences (typically Creative Commons, Apache-2.0, W3C, or similar open licences). We attribute source ontologies in our foundation graph provenance metadata.
Open-source software. Unicorn Factories is built on and integrates with open-source libraries, tools, frameworks, and infrastructure. All such open-source components remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and projects, and are used under the terms of their respective licences (MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, GPL, and other OSI-approved licences). Their inclusion in our platform does not transfer ownership or imply a licence beyond what each component's licence grants.

Their appearance on our platform does not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or certification, and all rights remain with the respective holders.
