LedgerSMB

LedgerSMB provides small and mid-size businesses with solid open source accounting software, integrating invoicing, order processing, quotations and more. The project aims to deliver a strong multi-currency accounting basis without vendor lock-in.

The application handles sales workflows from quotation to invoice, tracks receivables and payables, manages general ledger operations, and supports inventory management with light manufacturing capabilities for assemblies. Fixed asset accounting with depreciation tracking, profit and cost centers, departmental budgeting, and project tracking round out the financial features.

Multi-currency support allows transactions, invoices, and payments in different currencies with configurable conversion rates. Output documents can be generated in PDF, HTML, CSV, and Office formats, with built-in email functionality for sending orders, invoices, and RFQs directly from the application.
